Dr Nimalan Harinesan

Dr Harinesan is a caring and compassionate neurologist and neurophysiologist dedicated to providing expert, patient-centred care.

With specialist expertise across multiple areas of neurology, Dr Harinesan has a particular interest in multiple sclerosis (MS), autoimmune neurology, neuromuscular disorders, and clinical neurophysiology. He combines up-to-date evidence-based medicine with a personalised approach, taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns and develop tailored management plans.

Dr Harinesan currently serves as a Visiting Medical Officer with the Central Coast Local Health District and as a Visiting Medical Officer at the RPA Multiple Sclerosis Clinic. He collaborates closely with neurologists, specialists, and healthcare teams across NSW to ensure patients have access to comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.

His commitment is to deliver expert neurological assessment and treatment while supporting patients and their families through every stage of their neurological journey.
